Sophie Ramsay

Sophie arrives in Erinsborough under a cloud of sadness when her mother, Jill Robinson, a victim of a hit and run accident, dies and leaves her and her older siblings Kate and Harry to fend for themselves.
When her mother Jill Ramsay was suddenly killed, Sophie, her older brother Harry and sister Kate were left to fend for themselves. Traumatised by her mother's death, Sophie communicated through drawings in her journal and soon revealed there was more to her mother’s death than everyone realised.
Moving into the Street, Rebecca learns of Sophie's secret and tries to talk to Kate about Sophie being a key witness to her mother's accident, and able to tell the truth about what really did happen the day her mother died. Kate however is furious at Rebecca, saying she's putting the pressure on her for no other reason other than to save her boyfriend, Paul Robinson, who is under investigation for Jill Ramsay's murder. When Paul finally faces up to the police and lets them know he's responsible, they arrest him in front of the residents of Ramsay Street. When Sophie sees Paul being dragged away, she finally opens up and runs to Paul, and thanks him for helping her mother in the accident, proving she was there at the scene of the accident and that Paul is in fact innocent.
Realising they were really on their own, the Ramsay kids settled into the only life they now knew, as the orphaned kids at number 24 Ramsay Street, under the watchful eyes of the residents and human services. Sophie has found her feet in the loving support of the new friends she has made on the street, especially in her blossoming friendship with Callum. Both without their real parents around them, they bond over mutual ground and look forward to their first year of high school together.
