Asmar is a Clinique consultant when she isn’t acting and says many customers are speechless when they are greeted so warmly by the witch from Neighbours!
“You can see them thinking ‘where do I know her’ and when the penny drops they look a little terrified and then have a laugh,” said Asmar whose guest role has been extended into the new year.
Living in St Kilda, Asmar says she’s also bumped into a few British backpackers holidaying in the area and they’re so enthusiastic.
“One girl called me a bitch and then said she loved me, very funny.”
