Jacob Butler will be releasing his first single Coma on iTunes Friday August 7th under the band name The Jacob Butler Project. Pippa Black and ex Neighbours star Sweeney Young both appear in the video clip which was shot in various locations around Melbourne.

“I really love the track, that’s why I got on board. I’ve never appeared in a video clip before so it’s nice to be involved in something with really relatable lyrics. I think the scenes that we shot are really dramatic and quite emotive with the music,”  Pippa said.

On reuniting with Sweeney, Pippa said, “it was fantastic to work with Sweeney again. I haven’t seen him for about a year so it was a nice little reunion that we had and definitely fun – we had some gritty exchanges of conversation within the Coma storyline.”

Coma is the first single to be lifted from the album Jacob Butler created, Reason, and was written by Jacob. Jacob appeared on Australian Idol in 2007 where he placed 8th and prior to this he was a contestant on Ten’s The X Factor, where he finished 6th.
