2009 has been another huge year for Neighbours. It’s been my second year as Executive Producer and things have just been building and growing even more since last year. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve brought to you on screen this year and can’t wait to read your comments on the forums about what you think of our new stories when they begin in 2010.
A particular highlight of the year as some of you may have read, was that on Saturday the 14th of November, Neighbours invited the township of Callignee - that was devastated in the Black Saturday bushfires - to come to Neighbours for a day. We put on a BBQ, entertainment, and had our cast and crew welcome the residents of Callignee to our studios for a personal set visit. It was a very special day for us at Neighbours and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
All in all 2009 has been hugely successful and we’re rearing to go to give you a brilliant 2010! In fact next year Neighbours turns 25 years young!!! We have a big year of celebrations in store for you so get excited.

Me again - for the last time in 2009! I hope you all enjoyed our exciting final week and cliff hanger episodes for 2009 last week. They were great fun to make and we’re very excited about what we’ve got in store for you next year…..Just wait and watch out!
