With the return of two former cast favourites, Logie winner Natalie Blair and her partner David Hoflin, insiders suggest their arrival coincides with the demise of one of the show's most controversial couples.
Blair, who played Carmella Cammeniti, was Neighbours ‘it’ girl from 2004-2008 donning the covers of magazines nationally during her reign. It was while playing the much loved Carmella she teamed up on screen and off with Swedish born actor David Hoflin who played Oliver Barnes, Jane Hall’s on-screen son.
"It’s wonderful to have Nat and David back on Ramsay Street, they both still have many friends among the cast and crew," said Susan Bower. "Their visit will be short but I promise, memorable."
Barnes and Hoflin's appearance in early December will air around April. The couple will spend Christmas with family and friends before heading back to tinsel town.

Yes it's true - real life couple Natalie Blair and David Hoflin are coming home from their LA base to Neighbours' Nunawading studio to film the show's final two weeks of production for 2010.
