Libby returns to school, determined to face the world head on. When she refuses to take Michael's advice to go home, Lucas decides to follow suit, hesitantly.  The school is full of gossip about the two teachers involved in the baby scandal.... how will they cope? Lucas decides to be honest and come clean about how he's feeling to his students, however Libby takes a harder stance and blambasts anyone who challenges her to open up to hurt.  Pushed to breaking point, Libby takes her hurt out on Summer, coming painfully close to doing something she may regret. Trying to escape with Doug after work, tense Libby runs into Michael and Lucas. The situation comes to a head and Libby lashes out at Doug for not telling her the truth about Steph’s pregnancy. Hardening her heart against future hurt, Libby only makes her situation more unbearable.

Sensing Declan’s distance and worried she and her friends could make the same mistakes Steph and Toadie did, Donna initiates a Truth-telling session. The session turns serious when discussing what they’d have done if they were in Steph and Toadie’s shoes. Declan insists he’d do everything to protect Rebecca and India, but Kate is conspicuous by her absence from his statement. When Kate questions where she stands in Declan’s life, she learns he is keeping secrets from her, but where does that leave them?
