Sandy Winton
Sandy Winton joins the cast of Neighbours as Michael Williams, Erinsborough’s new school principal and the tormented father of a rebel teenage daughter played by newcomer Valentina Novakovic.

A National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) graduate, the seasoned performer has appeared in dozens of Australian series and tele-movies during his 15-year career including Home & Away, McLeod’s Daughters, The Secret Life Of Us, Something in the Air and Dog Woman.

One of his recent roles before settling into Ramsay Street was in the much anticipated American produced series The Pacific. Sandy was one of only a dozen Australian actors cast in the mega production which was filmed in several locations around the country.

He has starred in many theatre productions and feature films including Candy, Mask II, Oscar And Lucinda and Me Myself I with Rachel Griffith.

The Sydney-sider has relocated to Melbourne for the Michael Williams role with his wife and two young children aged 3 and 6. Despite his rugby league upbringing, he is an avid Sydney Swans supporter.
