Having witnessed a kiss between Libby and Lucas, betrayed Steph believes they are having a rebound fling. While Lucas and Libby maturely discuss their issues and come to the conclusion that their kiss was just a meaningless mistake, Steph reels… only to end up making a bigger mistake of her own. 

The teens anxiously await their VCE results. Devastated to have missed out on a score that would get him into a business degree, angry Declan lashes out at Zeke for his complacency. Kate chastises Declan for taking his issues out on other people - and tensions run high between them. Sick of the backbiting, Donna demands to know what’s going on. 

Libby’s worried about how Steph will react to her kissing Lucas, but finds it’s surprisingly mild. Lucas receives a similar reaction from his brother – only to discover that Dan has a much more serious confession to make. For the sake of Ben, Libby buries her feelings and asks Dan to keep his promise to Ben – and come to the Kennedy family Christmas Eve lunch. Will Dan attend – or will his guilt drive him from Erinsborough? 

Sophie’s still devastated that Harry’s living away from home – and won’t be around for Christmas. So Harry tries to cheer her up by helping with the old Ramsay Christmas tradition.

When photos from Deb Ball arrive, both Kate and Declan are reminded of the friendship they’ve lost and the romance he’s stifled. Kate’s surprised when Rebecca tells her what she wants to hear – that Declan actually likes her, but needs time to sort out his complex feelings. Her spirits buoyed, Kate confides in Donna about her feelings for Declan. And is shocked by her response…

Libby faces the prospect of Christmas without Dan, while Ringo has a dilemma of his own when his good VCE score means he’s eligible for an advanced paramedic’s course - in Sydney.

The Christmas store wars between Harold’s and Charlie’s become a tit-for-tat battle when Lou offers to fund Lyn’s decorations. Paul finally learns of his unintentional “loan” to Lou, while Lyn revels in sparring with her ex-husband and arch enemy Rebecca.

As Ben remains hopeful Dan will return for Christmas, the adults are divided on how and when to break the news to him. When devastated Ben discovers the truth, an angry Lucas reveals Dan’s infidelity to Libby. Blowing off steam, Lucas hammers his bike down an open highway…

Sonya’s unease at accepting Toadie’s Christmas present leads him to believe she may not be as into him as he hoped. Under pressure to reassure Toadie of her feelings, Sonya reveals her chequered Christmas past and how as a result, she doesn’t celebrate it. Can Toadie convince her to attend his and Callum’s Christmas celebrations?

Sophie still pines for Harry to spend all of Christmas with them. Revealing his experience last year with the Christmas miracle, Callum urges her not to lose hope.

The competition between Rebecca and Lyn heats up as the contest to name Erinsborough’s most Christmassy business continues. Lyn finally wins with a multicultural celebration but after their loss unfazed Paul decides he and Rebecca should host a party. His motives become clear when he makes a shock announcement.

Haunted by the guilt of her infidelity, Donna goes overboard trying to be the perfect girlfriend for Ringo. When he calls her on her odd behaviour she confesses she wishes she could turn back the clock to a time when they were happy – but stops short of admitting she cheated. Ringo promises that nothing will tear them apart but just as the couple seems stronger than ever… Donna’s secret comes under serious threat.

Christmas nears, and it brings Ramsay Street closer together. Toadie and Callum try to be understanding of Sonya’s choice not to celebrate Christmas. At the unveiling of the Ramsay Street Christmas lights she sees how much the festive season means to them. Will she choose to be a part of their lives?
