Block 1160
Lou and Lyn realise they’ve been played by Paul – and Lou urges Rebecca to help save Harold’s Store, an Erinsborough icon. Realising that her own business could be under threat, Rebecca agrees – stocking the store with Charlie’s own supplies without Paul’s knowledge. Is Rebecca risking her own relationship to help Lyn?

Kate’s managed to get the Future Spark bike trailer fixed, but they now only have 24 hours to bank the power they need to make the Deb carbon neutral. As the teens all team up to pedal their way to victory, Harry reminds Kate she also needs to find him a date, and Kate promises she’ll do it. But when Kate doesn’t deliver, Harry takes drastic action.

Donna’s determined to impress in the build-up to an important show at Saffron’s fashion studio. But Ringo finds the way Saffron treats her staff - a constant roller-coaster of abuse and rewards - hard to accept. In a vulnerable moment, Saffron opens up and Donna comforts her. Donna’s confident their new, deeper connection will lead to a valuable professional relationship, but is dismayed to find Saffron’s temper as harsh as ever. Donna finally finds the courage to stand up to Saffron, but is shocked by the consequences.

Kate’s set on making up for her sisterly neglect by scoring Sarah as Harry’s date for the Deb. Hatching a makeshift plan, she conspires with Zeke and Sunny to split Sarah from her commitment to ‘meathead’ Kyle Canning. But it all goes horribly wrong.

Elle returns from New York, enamoured with the Manhattan lifestyle and workplace but she missed Lucas and Donna. She downplays her success in New York, happy to be back in Lucas’ arms. However, upon checking her credit card statement, she realises she’s overspent and cash-poor since James’ swindle and will have to budget. Appreciating the shift in their relationship dynamic, Lucas attempts to show her budgeting can actually be fun and most importantly, bring them closer. However when Paul, looking to show Rebecca his commitment, offers to buy the Robinson house back from Elle, she’s tempted. Despite Lucas’ investment in them finally being on an even keel, Elle agrees to sell, with the one condition being that they keep it quiet from Lucas.

Traumatised by Saffron’s abuse, Donna sinks into her shell, withdrawing from family and friends. Insisting she’s just tired and coming down with a cold, she dismisses their concern. However Elle and Rebecca suspect there’s more to it and attempt to get through to her. Donna stubbornly refuses to give much away but having experienced an abusive relationship herself, Rebecca spots the tell-tale signs and persists. Eventually Elle manages to get the truth out of Donna as she breaks down. Reassuring Donna this isn’t her fault, they eventually give the reluctant Donna the courage to press charges against Saffron. But she is left unsure about what the future holds for her dreams of a fashion career.

Amanda leads Harry into thinking that if he can buy some alcohol for her then he will finally have his chance with Sarah. When Declan finds out about Harry’s plan, he lets him know it’s a bad idea. But Amanda continues to push him, and when Lyn inadvertently encourages him to go for it, Harry decides he can’t give up the chance. His attempts are foiled however, when Declan and Zeke catch him in the act and remind him what’s at stake if he were to get in trouble – his family. But reckless Harry decides the risk is worth it…

With Dan’s comment about not being his son still bothering him, Ben flees to the Kennedy house again where he pitches a tent, declaring it an adult free zone. Susan and Karl make clear their feelings towards Dan, and he finds himself sidelined by everyone. He finally makes peace with Ben, but there’s more tension ahead.

Toadie pursues Elle, urging her to tell Lucas the truth about her recently-improved financial position. Unwilling to ruin the good thing they have, and knowing how much Lucas is enjoying being the provider, Elle tells Toadie to mind his own business. But she’s struggling with the guilt of her secret…

Realising he can’t keep drinks for the Deb at home, Harry ends up taking the bottle to school. Declan sees him stash it in his locker and urges him to get rid of it before he gets into trouble. However, Harry refuses to listen, so Declan tips Dan off, keeping Harry’s name out of it. Addressing all of his students, Dan warns anyone found with alcohol will be immediately suspended. Harry still won’t be dissuaded so Declan goes straight to Amanda and tells her to leave Harry alone. Flirtatious Amanda wonders what Declan will offer her in exchange but their encounter is witnessed by Harry who gets the wrong end of the stick. Believing Declan has gone behind his back and ruined his hopes for Sarah and cred at school, Harry plants the incriminating bottle in Declan’s locker… just before Dan’s inspection. Will Harry get Declan suspended?
