Trying to protect his girlfriend, Ringo warns him off, but James goes to Donna: he’s leaving town, as his presence is causing trouble. When Donna learns that Ringo has been going behind her back, she gives him an ultimatum: either accept James, or they’re over.
Elle sees Lucas and Sonya chatting at the garage but Lucas is evasive about how he knows this attractive new woman. Guilty and ashamed of her role in the article, Rebecca offers to bury the hatchet and a seemingly compliant Lyn agrees. But when it is revealed that Steph has bought the Parker house for her mother to live in Rebecca discovers the painful truth – that Lyn has no intention of abiding by their ceasefire. Ben and Callum have left organising Father’s Day presents til the last minute. When their efforts to cook a special breakfast fall flat, they redouble their efforts to earn money for gifts. They prove to be a successful busking duo, but realise orphan Sophie is upset at having no Dad to celebrate with. They decide to use the money they’ve made to cheer her up instead.
Steph discovers Lyn has left by way of a note. The poor warning doesn’t sit right with Steph and she challenges Elle, fearing the Robinsons may have something to do with Lyn’s absence. But Elle reveals Paul paid Lyn to leave town and Steph feels betrayed that her Mum’s kept the truth from her.
