Susan persuades Lou and Lucas to let her deal with Harry herself but struggles to get to the bottom of his break-in. While he accepts responsibility for the earlier intrusion, he won’t explain what he was doing in her house. Susan discovers he was after the keyboard but Harry begs her not to tell Kate want he’s done. Susan agrees to keep his confidence on the condition that he plays something for her. Reluctant Harry plays and loses himself in the music. When he breaks down, Susan finds the boy with a pain in his heart over the loss of his mother.
Steph is finding it harder to resist Lucas’ charms so she resolves to stop spending time with him outside work. When Rebecca confronts Steph about who her new love interest is, she tells her she is attracted to an attached man and needs to steer clear. However, Lucas is persistent and insists on spending time with her, not realising what he’s doing. Resolved to get her feelings out into the opening and tackle the problem head on, she heads to the garage to talk to Lucas, but finds him in the middle of a very dodgy poker game. What mess has Lucas got himself into?
Mickey resents the arrival of the new baby and acts out, Steve and Miranda think it’s just jealousy at the attention India is getting. However, Lou finds out it’s more complicated than that and finds out that the bond between parents and children has reminded him of his own family. Now that Kirsten’s condition is improving he wants to go home and be with his Mum and Dad.
