Little baby India proves she has lungs of steel and Bridget and Declan start to buckle under the pressure of their new parenting roles. Their exhausted and don’t know what to do to soothe their daughter’s cries. Conscious of not overstepping the mark, Miranda resists the need to offer her assistance and Bridget feels she can’t admit failure. However, Steve shows Miranda that Bridget doesn’t need answers, she just needs her mother!
Paul can’t help but reach out when he sees the burden Kate is carrying looking after her siblings. He wants to ease the Ramsay kid’s financial burdens and offers them part of the inheritance they’re entitled to, however Harry refuses to accept his charity for fear he is betraying his mother’s memory. Kate needs the help and tries to persuade Harry to accept the money as it will help them and give them more choices in life. It makes sense! When Kate asks Sophie for her opinion, Sophie agrees with her saying she just wants to see Katie working less. So, it’s two votes against one, in favour of taking Paul’s offer. When Harry is forced to swallow his objections for Sophie’s sake, he channels his anger and frustration into an unlikely source – breaking into the Kennedy’s.
Toadie is upset about letting Dan and Libby down as their Lawyer during the meeting with the Hospital Board. When Steve, Lucas and Lou get wind of his problem they come to his side, giving him the encouragement he needs to get back up and ‘kick some hospital backside’.
