The hospital has cancelled Libby’s IVF treatment because of the public scrutiny surrounding Paul Robinson’s article. Rocked by the hospital’s silence Libby decides she wants to take legal action, someone has to stand up to them. Dan puts his foot down, he doesn’t want Libby to go through a long drawn-out court battle. Libby is determined, someone has to fight for their rights.
Devastated and angry, Libby lashes out at Elle telling her how she feels about her, her Dad and the ‘damn’ paper, for wrecking her IVF opportunity. Will Libby be able to get over this loss in her life?
When Libby asks Karl whether she should fight he realises how important this baby is and decides to go into bat for her, telling her he’ll sort it out.
Meanwhile, Zeke’s moved in to Steph’s and when his friends tell him about the drama going on back at home, surrounding Libby’s surrogacy case, Zeke feels dejected. Why hasn’t anyone called him to tell him what’s going on? Besides that, he feels awkward around Sunny after she rejected him after he let out the ‘L’ word. Later he confronts Susan and Karl about not informing him about the surrogacy problems, and an argument follows.
Acting out, Zeke lets a study-session at Steph’s house get out of hand and Steph arrives home to find her lounge trashed, her fridge cleaned out and Ringo and Donna getting up close and personal on the sofa.
